Bloodline

• Origin

  In terms of blood, strictly speaking, Lysander is an Arcadian, just like his twin brother.
  
  However, he was not carried in a mortal womb, and he was not born, as such. Rather, he's the product of a rather insidious blood spell, which created a replica of a long-heralded hero of Arcadia, a prophesied prince whose coming promised a time of renewal and rebirth in Arcadian history.
  
  In effect, this means that Lysander possesses all the typical Arcadian traits- enhanced senses, increased longevity, and traditional Elvish traits, toned down in favor of the resilience and adaptability of the Hardin, the ancient tribe of the Arcadian countryside.

• Devil Prince

  Lysander's creator, at the time of his birth, imbued him with some of his own blood, as well, binding him with a magical mantle that is above and beyond his physiology.
  
  While he bears no Devil traits and, indeed, carries no Devil blood in him, at all, he nonetheless enjoys some of the protections and powers- as well as weaknesses, that Devils enjoy. Most prominently, this means he's able to endure magical spells and the elements with great ease, even places that would ordinarily bring a mortal low, such as the outer planes. However, this does mean a weakness to Divine magic, a vulnerability that has been exploited in the past, in integral part of efforts to overcome him.
  
  This secret he keeps very close to the chest- indeed, there are only two living mortals who are aware of it, and he makes free use of his bond to the masters of the Hells to gain power, leverage, and advantage over his opponents, whenever it's prudent to do so.
